The Corsentino Group was established because of the need for experts in the field of Homeland Security, security assessments, forensics, and tactical issues related to personal and corporate safety concerns. Prior to retiring from his career as a four-term elected Sheriff and Chief Executive Officer, Dan Corsentino provided leadership to the Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office in Pueblo, Colorado, for twenty years. The former Sheriff was responsible for an organization with an annual budget in excess of 18 million dollars and employed over 300 employees.

 
 

Dan holds a Masters Degree in Public Administration from the University of Colorado. He is a Graduate of Harvard’s Senior Executive Management Program, the National FBI Academy (172 Session), Northwestern Police Staff and Command in Evanston, Illinois, as well as the LEEDS program from the National FBI academy.

At present, Dan serves on the United States Homeland Security Senior Advisory Board for emergency responders, directly reporting to the National Homeland Security Advisory Board. U.S. Homeland Security Secretary, Michael Chertoff, appointed Corsentino to the position in 2007.

Dan currently is devoting his time to conducting security assessments nation-wide, teaching for the National Sheriffs association throughout the country, and presenting to colleges and universities instruction on campus preparing emergency plans for all hazards, and campus violence.
